I have to assume you never went on a business trip by car on your own driving. Since, well, it's important to keep your clothes formal for work and business, having to sleep in for a night would really lead yo either sleeping in underwear or any other non-formal clothes you have. That's the reason for pajama in the first place too. But since not always do you pack enough stuff if it was going to be not a day long, sometime stuff happen.
