Seeing the blue Shelby Cobra and a girl with a gun smiling happily I first thought of "Gunsmith Cats". But the car got the wrong license plate.

The license plate refers to the pistol wielded by Cobra of "Space Adventure Cobra", which is of course keeping in theme. ;)
