Because back in the day Danbooru used to be wilder. It was endless parties, alcohol, unprotected sex, drugs, orgies, etc. Then one day Danbooru overdosed and nearly died, but the paramedics were able to resuscitate him and saved his life. It took some time before he could get back on his feet, but since then he has changed his life, and has tried to clean his ways.... or something like that.
