It is actually quite surprising that she got a room, even. I thought she was reduced to mindmap/core and kept in Persica's crib. But no, she has her own room/cell at least.

Nah, I was talking about Architect. She was hanging out with Ouroboros and tried to mess with Ro in Persica's electronic whatever back in Sopmod's M3 story. Plus, she wasn't around physically in Halloween's.

Gameplay and story segregation is clearly at play here.

My question is, even if it’s just for Xmas, why can’t the assimilated units interact with G&K dolls?

For reference, during the event, it is shown that Architect is not interacting with the other dolls. I’m not sure if this is by choice or forced.

I just feel bad for her. All the other dolls are having a good time and she’s just here. Alone.
