    And with Pikachu and Pichu being classified as mouse type pokemon, Edelgard would have an extreme fear towards them (regardless of how cute they may be). And judging from Claude expression in this (as well as some dialogue within the game), he's aware of Edelgard's fear for mice and rats and is somewhat enjoying tormenting her.

    If only he could have done that shit ingame. Would have helped with aloooooooot preventing of bullshit that occurred later on.

    Ehh, trying to scare Edelgard with rats would probably not have worked because of Hubert.
