Take that survey's result with a grain of salt. Note that the pollsters didn't ask whether the people surveyed wouldn't drink Corona because of the coronavirus — it simply asked if they would drink it — and Corona is a boring mass-market lager that a lot of people wouldn't drink in the first place. What those headlines didn't tell you is that of the people who actually drink Corona, only 4% said they would stop drinking it. That's not juicy enough to go viral, though, so of course they put up the most misleading statistic instead, and shitty media outlets are all too willing to uncritically report it instead of doing actual journalism.
