IIRC, it has some ex-developers from GFL, and it has an apparantely free focus on the f2p model. That they inherited a rather infamous rivalry, in China, with GFL probably helps.

I'm also going crazy with the uploads some days, so it may be skewing the perceived popularity. Gotta pass the quarantine time somehow...
