Sorry, I was a bit lazy - the long version of "forged" is that the receivers are a visual match for an M16A2-pattern lower and an M4/M16A4-pattern upper. Both types are machined from forgings and extremely common, and essentially the default receivers for a civilian AR.
They could, in theory, be machined from stock (or 3D printed, or whatever) to look the same, but I feel that's comfortably into Occam's razor territory.
