Hang in There, Kogasa-san 3455
I had rent coming up every month, so getting enough that I could eat a little was a huge help!
They provided me the hand-lettered original art, which was gorgeously done, and I marveled in shock at how awesome the designer was.
My job was to take the letters drawn purely in black, expand their range, do this, that and the other, and make them all 3D and sparkly. For the first year or two after CG-ish stuff began appearing on the cover of BomBom, pretty much any lettering in that style was my work. :-)
