当時は『ホームページ帳』という電話帳みたいな本が出てて、それを見てアクセスしたり、リンクページから辿ったりしてたので、ページ名で目立たないと来てもらえなかったんですよね。
Yahooなんかも登録制だったので申し込んで載せてもらいましたが、そのうち審査制になって申し込んでもなかなか載せてもらえなくなったので、Yahooに載ってることがステータスになったりもしました。

ちなみにホームページは3日ほどで作りました。

A telephone directory-like book called the "Home Page Directory" came out at the time, and you'd read that to access pages, follow from link pages, and so on, so you couldn't get people to come if your page name didn't stand out. Yahoo had a registration system too, so I applied and got included in it, but before long, it became a review system, and it became difficult to get listed even if you applied, so being listed on Yahoo became a status symbol.

I made my home page in about three days, by the way. It took time to create the materials. (^^;)
