Massachusetts and Jean Bart engaged in a gunnery duel off Casablanca during Operation Torch. Massachusetts managed to silence the only functioning turret Jean Bart had, the ship was ultimately damaged by dive bombers.

The game does pit Jean Bart and Massachusetts as the strongest rivals for their factions that ultimately respect each other after facing off at Casablanca, and if I recall correctly, Jean Bart does mention she would like to face off against Big Mamie again were she to live again.

Those dive bombers were from Ranger. It's too bad she wasn't more involved in the event.
