I loved this game. I could never find an actual copy and my burned version would go to the DC home menu after I beat the game. No secret weapons for me T_T

You needed to beat the game. Then you got beam weaponry. Mind you it wasn't all powerful, blow a hole in something firepower, but if you aimed right, one or two well placed shots at distance would take out a Zaku or a Dom. Aim right and you can make them armless. Funny to watch them try to ram you hehehe!
I was so disappointed that "Gundam: Crossfire" was not like this game. I mean, yeah, the graphics looked amazing, the mobile suit selection was great, and the overall premise of the game in terms of plot, and faction selection was a great idea. But the fact that the a.i. wingmen you were given were piss poor in terms of ability, and effectiveness; and the fact that you could only give them the most basic of instructions (such as, "follow me" or "attack") and couldn't command them separately (as in they had to stay together) made me feel like I had to do everything (and was) all by myself. At the very least "Rise from the Ashes" give you had the ability to command your wingmen individually, and specify on either attack or defense on specific units, and at what range. And the a.i.'s were so competent that I can't tell you the number of times I was saved by "Fang 2" or "Fang 3". The game not only made me feel like a badass, but the team you lead were also badasses. I just want another game like this.
deadbreadstick has said all the right things, so all I'll add is that I was disappointed the game was so short, and that it didn't have some kind of arena/training battle mode where you could just go and blast things for fun.
(Actually, I just finished playing the game, AGAIN, a month or two ago.)
