So, for the moment not tagging this with Arai-san_Mansion since there's no specific indication other than the horror theming. This Serval doesn't have a cloak like the ones in-setting usually do, Kaban hasn't appeared in the actual Mansion, and the original post just didn't have it tagged either.

If anyone feels that it does apply anyway, feel free, but that's my reasoning for the moment.
