There wasn't. This is a Toyota Crown, specifically the S130 from 1991 to 1999.
However, there is inspiration of the second generation 'cuda in the drawing of this Crown. The flat-black hood (an AAR design), the strip that leads into a crown (LOOSELY similar to the AAR stripe and shield) black roof (which was vinyl on the 'cuda), the metal trim around the windows, chrome bumpers, the black ducktail spoiler, and even the Sublime Green color for the rest of the body.
