...No. Semiramis did not have pierced hands. One does not simply put a piercing through a part of the body that thick without SERIOUS health problems, especially in pre-modern times. Also it's goddamned idiotic when trying to actually USE your hands for... ANYTHING.
Also, whoever designed her art needs brain surgery for thinking being unable to grab anything without stabbing it is a good idea. Unless the ornament can easily be flipped up to lay between her fingers so she can grab something with the ornament sticking out the front of her fist, that's the only way it would be remotely tolerable for regular wear.
So unless she is wearing a glued-on version of her usual ornamentation just for style reasons, this piece is ridiculous. Also, how does she even hold snacks (that require more than thumb and two fingers, or take up lots of space like an ice cream cone) with those things?
