I am assuming it means the baby was a boy and the ones that was not marked were girls.

It's pretty obvious that it's the babies that were aborted and birthed. Why would a single line mean it was a boy or girl?

Yeah, I found later that Pixiv has a tag for abortion marks. Why would she want to advertise that?
