That's just GW's justification for keeping girls out of the boys-only club.
consider Excalibur being the culmination and embodiment of all of mankind's hopes and dreams, Saber would be put in the cadre of Tzeentchian Daemon Princes than an Ultrasmurf Astartes unit
even though contradicting, but Servant summoning works the same way as daemon summoning, and both daemons and Servants share the same nature of emotions/historical figures/abstract concepts being given physical manifestations
If I remember right, The reason why that the geneseed rejects females is that Big E (God Emperor) is a male thus isn't compatible with females. If Big E was a female then yeah, we would have female space marines but also don't have male space marines.
I'm sure in the 35 years that 40k has been round there's a fuck ton of fanfics of this knowledge and will continue to do so.

Narratively speaking, the Primarchs represent aspects of the Emperor's personality, and all Space Marines are derived from their Primarch. The conflicts between the Primarchs is the Emperor wrestling with his own issues. Space Marines also inevitably start to take on the appearance and tendencies of their Primarch. So even if women could go undergo the process, they'd end up looking and behaving very mannish anyways.
Besides which, the themes for the Imperium in the 40k setting are somewhere between hopelessly corrupt and ruthlessly pragmatic. Pragmatically speaking, the best thing women can do for humanity is to have children as early and as often as possible, because there's always a demand for more meatshields. And supposing a woman was space marine material, it'd make no sense to basically sterilize her when she could potentially bear numerous sons who'd be of similar caliber.

You say that, but the Adeptus Soretus (spelling?) And the sisters of silence are a thing. Especially in the latter case, because trained nulls are infinitely more useful against chaos and psyckers than your run of the mill space marine.
