Are the 2 platelets with shorter hair actually male? They aren't treated any differently than the others and they also are referred to with "-chan", boys get "-kun" even in kindergarten. Not to mention the upload on pixiv contains a #loli and #girl tags while no shota or boy.

Yep, they are all girls. This was clarify in the spin-off manga, Cells at Work!: Platelets!
