If Otaku had instead convinced Osanai-senpai otherwise...

Would he have even been able to convince her? Even when Otaku convinced Osanai-senpai that he didn't know Hime's secret, as we found out recently all that did was force Osanai to do her own investigating. Chances are even if he did convince her he'd only be delaying the inevitable. Now it's a coin flip on whether Osanai would be more of a troll or less without him there . . . .

So...I'm guessing Hime managed to hit -100% affection, then?

Yeah, I don't get why people are blaming Otaku for this. They voted for it, plus it wouldn't have stopped Osanai anyway.
