Iunno, I've actually always wondered why there are figures on Danbooru. It doesn't really bother me, but I somehow feel like if all different angles of a figure were uploaded people wouldn't like it - so what exactly sets it apart?
Anyway in regards to why I posted that comment; I didn't give the "figure" tag much more than a quick look, and it seemed to be more of pictures with figures in them rather than of figures. That's all.
