Great, looks like I'm going to lose another upload because no moderator will approve it. Mods, why not just delete it on day one if you have no intention of approving it?
I appreciate the 'let it fall off the unapproved list' approach, myself, for two reasons.
1. Even if no mod decides that the pic is booru worthy, at least it gets a few days to get some exposure to the booru public. Those who like it will have liked it: mission accomplished - unless your mission is to preserve someone else's work on a freely accessible site without their permission, for posterity (?).
2. If you're browsing http://danbooru.donmai.us/post/deleted_index for whatever reason, reasons other than 'not approved' will catch your eye. I think this is useful for browsing for 'important' deletes.

Ninja'd! Also, this is a great reason, too. Now I have three.
The main problem is the deleted_index though. Because it exist, I won't be able to re-upload this at a later time.
btw I wasn't trying to say the mods were lazy, I know they are busy. But when compared with how fast my other uploads were approved, I can't help but think they have already seen it, don't want it on the site, and instead of just not approving it, they let the timer run down.
Butterflies, but save it now, because it will be deleted by tomorrow. Seriously, why the hell don't they just delete it when they decide they don't want to leave it on the site.
