OT! was an early example of a work that got you wanting to make pilgrimages to series locations after seeing the anime. Apparently, a lot of fans went to visit Lake Kizaki.

That's nostalgic, Onegai☆Twins was the first anime I watched. (Not counting stuff that went on TV before I even knew what anime was, like pokemon.)
