What means that my post "belongs to a parent post"? is it going to be deleted? please don't!! ok, it's the same picture, but mine's is in PNG format, with transparent background (wich I made), but the parent post is a JPG with white background. They may look similar, but there's a huge difference.

A post that belongs to a parent post simply means that they are two pictures of the same sort, but with differences between them. The more pressing concern I believe is the blue tag "duplicate" which means that a picture is exactly the same as another already uploaded.
The background of Firefox and most other browsers is white. You will see no difference between a white and transparent background while in the browser.
The background of about:blank is most of the time if not always white, correct.
The background of any homepage can vary between over 16 million colors and then a homepages background can also be a picture or even an animated picture.
The difference is huge, it gets even bigger when you are into any powerful image editing tool, like Photoshop.
Thanks Gwar, finally someone who got my point. I'm not talking about how the image looks, I know it looks the same. I was talking about it's format. Anyway, I hope it's useful to someone...
