And so, my friends, we’re finally here. Giorno Giovanna, son of Dio. The fifth and final portrait of my Jojo series, and with that the lineup is finally complete. Together they interconnect in a long single picture! (Sorry for those of you who wanted Jolyne, I already explained why that one portrait doesn’t exist yet)

The support across different websites for these paintings has been OVERWHELMING and I am deeply touched by all of your comments, and completely humbled by all of the people who have shown interest in buying the prints. So, Giorno. He’s so awesome. He’s at times kind, noble and full of courage like Jonathan, and at times fierce, dark and merciless like Dio, he’s literally the best of both worlds, and he’s also aided by one of the best supporting cast in all of Jojo: the Passione gang (of which I’ve already painted Bruno and Abbacchio before). I find Part 5 fascinating in many ways, there’s this golden aura (pun intended) of greatness and poetry around it, much like a greek myth fused with a renaissance religious masterpiece. The villain is literally the Devil, so... yeah.

I always loved Giorno’s black suit so I decided to use it and also alter it a bit with some gold for this portrait. As always, I hid some symbolism in this piece, so I hope you pay very close attention!
