    I don't actually know Chinese and the text quoted here seems to be a fairly obscure one, so I had to piece together the translation from incomplete and machine-translated sources. Translation check appreciated, mostly on the names.

    Wang Lang was a vassal of Wei infamous for being (fictionally, in Romance of the Three Kingdoms) the old minister who was literally talked to death by Zhuge Liang during a pre-battle parley.

    (Only in fiction though. There's no mention of it in the actual historical records.)

    Poor old guy is now eternally remembered for something he didn't do. As well as being 'immortalized' as a traitorous old codger, since Wei are the designated bad guys in RoTK.
