In Otomore's defense, I don't get the feeling she interacts with him all that much and she probably doesn't have an inkling of what he's going through right now.

Otaku could use a willing ear, I think, as long as he's willing to actually talk about it. If he's honest, it probably won't go over well with/for Otomore, but still...

I stayed like super far away from this series after the school festival arc. People were so hard on Otaku-kun for not taking the Osanai's hints.

Now, I say it: if Otomore right now takes the protagonist and wins over Osanai, that would be fine for me.

I like Osanai, she's by far my favorite character of this series, but I also sympathize with Otaku-kun: this guy might have zero love experience and might be socially incompetent, so he's going to need a more direct action. I hope Himekawa's words permeate him.
