You know, it's not often you see them take their backstories and lore seriously like this. I kinda forget sometimes the Hololive virtual universe is pretty crazy and diverse.
Been a while since I've been this hyped for anything. I feel like it'll take another year before we get first ep, but it'll be damn worth it.
Also, RIP Coco, yeeted by a knight.
According to Fubuki it's not an anime. A web manga by Mizuryu Kei is already confirmed be going along with this so I'm guessing it's a mobile game or something like that
Was also surprised when it turns out that the management mistakenly told FBK that it wasn't Coco.
It was her, as been told by Coco herself about what happened during a superchat reading. She's not purple though, so it might have been a mistake on the illustrators' part.

Or maybe they saw all the memes and positive attention and then decided to roll with it.
Holostars is very unlikely due how this "silly" separation is still present.
The very most I could see Holostars getting are references where they don't actually show them. Like Bar Robel being in the background of a city scene or a passing reference to the beastman mafia

Why? The only reason the separation still exist is because both Hololive and Holostar fears a very small minority of fans would rage quit if they are to interact. What with it interfering with the "idol is my girlfriend" delusion.
And even then that was an overblown fear since Fubuki and Matsuri are still able to collab with them without any significant damages(maybe less viewership on said collabs, but that's about it). Apart from that both Hololive and Holostars do mention each other by name often without any backlash.
A small cameo like having Holostars appear in the background of a Hololive work is the same. If there are fans who hate Holostars so much they'd be against that, you'd be seeing them appear spamming hate on the Holostars' video, and I don't think even Cover would want to pander to those kind of toxic fans.
If the Holostars don't appear, it'd just be because they either forgot to or wasn't asked to include them. Not because of the separation.
