You say that but don't say anything about Peach putting soap into it?
That pisses me off even more. We all KNOW Peach is a fantastic cook. Mario's cake addiction can attest to that. She should know better and be joining Min-min in tearing Mythra apart for tossing what seriously looks like Dharkon himself into the pot.

being a Passtiar isn't the same as being a cook. Peach can be a master at baking sweets she can still be illiterate in general cooking.

That doesn't even remotely make sense. Comparing baking to cooking is not like comparing rocket science to heart surgery. If you know how to bake a cake, 10 to 1 odds you know that soap is not a valid ingredient in food preparation, unless you're an idiot savant who's only skill is baking.

Is.... is that soap?!
It's a reference to Paper Mario 64. During a segment where you play as Peach and must bake a cake for Gourmet Guy, you can put soap into the cake (you're not supposed to, obviously). This became particularly infamous to foreign speedrunners playing on the Japanese version, and occasionally messing up during this segment. https://youtu.be/FM--GjR6pGU

I disagree, it's possible to make good cakes but be absolutely shit at "normal" cooking. See "Amy's Baking Company", for example, they were famous for making great cakes, and trash everything-else.

We are talking about using soap as an ingredient, not the finer details of proper cooking. Being good at baking but bad at "cooking" is not the same as being good at baking and dumping dish soap into a stew. I know all about Amy's Baking Company, I seriously doubt their problem was using soap in their recipes.

I know, I just got annoyed by your post and felt obligated to nitpick. It was childish and I'm sorry, but I just couldn't ignore it.
