I'm guessing people complained that the artist drew Nessa's skin color too light (even though, you know, this artist uses a lot of light watercolors). I thought we had moved past this when Nessa first debuted, but I guess some folks needed a quick erection.

That's exactly what happened

And every single one of them were the usual hypocrites that draw/retweet Africanized versions of anime characters, like Naruto or Deku, because "blackwashing" doesn't exist even though by their own logic they're erasing Japanese representation.
