Are you trying to imply that Lappland doesn't have a pussy because humans ellegedly never existed? That's not really how mammals work, regular animals have vaginas and penises, human evolution doesn't have anything to do with that.
Also, I don't recall an interview saying humans never existed. I recall one where they indirectly answered the question of "Are there any humans?" with "We want all our operators to be unique." Which doesn't actually answer the question at all.
I don't think that was exactly their intent. I've heard some unverified possible spoilers about whether or not normal humans exist or ever existed on Terra, so they probably didn't want to say anything that could potentially spoil whatever they have planned, or back themselves into a corner by saying yes or no and limiting their literary options going forward.
Also, way to overgeneralize an entire form of media as if every anime is written and directed the exact same way.
