They might be teasing Azazel about falling, but aren't they liable to "see the light" so to speak? Someone might end up with a dark streak or two through their hair.
I can't tell if she's serious or if she's just playing along. Also, don't be silly, of course Santa Claus is real! Right? ... Right?
Last week Vanripper's world had the Imperial Guard fight off a small cadre of the Word Bearers legion. Santa Claus is probably not only real, but the head of the G.R.U.

The G.R.U is the largest Russian intelligence agency. Saying if that's bad or good is going to drop my score so low that my packet data'll be swimming in the subduction zone.
At this point I'm expecting that even after fully transforming into a demon, Azazel will still believe that falling is a fairy tale and that she's still an angel.
And the revelation that Judgment too is a fallen angel might explain why she dislike and even trash talk Lucifer.

azazel has to go through the steps of acceptance. sadly due to being so long lived it could take her centuries to progress from the denial stage.

I don't know 40k, is that good or bad?
The Imperial Guard are basically the US army: joe average soldier guys.
The Word Bearers? Imagine the Incredible Hulk. Now imagine him as self aware and intelligent, but still willing to rip your head off because he's also a religious fanatic. Now give him a one handed chainsaw and a hand canon as weapons and put him in a massive suit of Fallout 4 power armor. Now imagine there's about twenty of them charging at you chanting "your death will make a fine offering to chaos gods."
That's basically what Imperial Guard vs Word Bearers is.

As BlastingNaba said, it is the largest Russian intelligence agency, directly related to the high ranks of the military and the ones that make sure that anything that could be detrimental or positive to Russia is known by the Generals. While the KGB is far more (in)famous, the GRU (or Main Intelligence Directorate) is behind most things the KGB (Which does not exist ever since the Fall of The Soviet Union) is blamed for by foreign powers and the average citizen. When it comes to good or bad, it is as good and/or bad as any other intelligence agency in the world, as good and/or bad as the FBI or the CIA, as good and/or bad as the MI6.
