That and even before FGO we already had a vomit of names via classes. CCC we were naming riders by color and I don’t think anyone outside of the hardcore fan had any idea who the fuck was who. And don’t even get me started on the saberfaces. Having multiple Altria is already hard as hell to identify but imagine of we called them all saber. The tags might as well just commit sudoku at that point.

It's the same way I feel about how nobody has drawn Artoria the Abyss Walker yet (as much anyway. I guess post #2416716 counts but that's not the "same" Altria since it's MHX who can not possibly be Altria cause she's an alien), despite their basically the same background and whatnot. They even have the same color scheme and probably the sameface underneath that helmet.

MHX is just Artoria from an alternate universe, she's as much Artoria as any other Artoria. She even has the Artoria trait.

I mean for gods sake, her official localization for Fate/Extra, Extella and Extella link is still Artoria as well as with every other medium (although they still go by saber for most). The whole Altria thing, even for joke reason, was still stupid as fuck regardless and I doubt even if Nasu takes it seriously cause I never heard him once call her that. I’m wondering how they’re going to go forth with this shit for the Extra remake. If Altria is still Altria, then I’d say its time to submit. If otherwise they use Artoria, then fuck it all to hell.

She’s still called Artorias in both Extella and Link. She’s even called so on her profile at Marvelous’ main site, ingame and with every DLC. Even if Altria was the official name, Nasu kinda dropped the ball on it cause Extella was probably long in production before they decided on the change and there was no way they were going to scrap everything all for some bullshit joke. Also, Extra was also officially naming her such and it would be idiotic to change her name especially when Extella being a direct sequel to it same as how they kept Emiya as Nameless (different person I know but I digress) and Extra being the only other Fate related series to official be brought to the west with official translation, yeah. For now it’ll depend on the Extra remake I’ll still say. As someone who holds Extra higher on the scale than the others, even FGO, I myself will consider the case settled once they officially proclaim it from there. Otherwise, I could give a damn what they call Saber. Arthuria, Artoria, Altria, Altaria. Its all interchangeable since they themselves could never decide on what they want.
