    I'm more confused why part of the measurements are metric and the other imperial.

    Measuring in cups and tablespoons isn't imperial, it's kitchen standard. Ask any cook or housewife/-husband.

    Any I've asked IRL just dislike it since they never say what type of cup or if its actual "American cups".
