The icebreaker Sōya, aka Volochaevets, is introduced into the game. Ido loves the Soviets.)

    You called it.

And praise Lord Shibafu for bringing Ido-sensei back (however briefly).

So we have a ex-Soviet ship (well, planned Soviet ship) that survived and still exists as a museum ship.

Christmas will be interesting, given that one of the ship's nicknames was "Santa Claus of the Sea".

Poor Tashe. Made the effort to travel far only to be told no.

Makes me think of how Ido-Sensei will introduce the other new girls. Especially Momo with her potential rivalry with Naka.

And just in time for my order of the Atlanta book and omnibus to arrive! A joyous day!!

Shibafu really hit it out of the park with Souya. Ido hardly needed to apply his style to her official art. I think it's her eyes that made her stand out significantly from the other Shibafu ships.

I look forward to his purification of Orthocone Hime and Abyssal Barbara. Honolulu got me the most excited so I look forward to how she'll be depicted in Idoverse.

Tashkent: *asked souya if she want to join in the soviet club.*
Souya: *shot it down faster than atlanta can shoot down planes.*

    hahahaha

I sure hope there's a fuel depot where Tashkent found Souya, because on her maximum range just getting from the nearest port (probably somewhere in Australia) to the Antarctic would have drained almost all her fuel.

Eh, Souya's classed as an oiler. Ol' Tash will be fine.

    No...
I hear that you were born as a ship intended to be handed over to the Soviets, were you not!
    Finally found you...
    Not particularly...
To the West, to the East Busy as a Beaver
And thus, Tashkent's journey of 14,000km came to a close.
    You're... Comrade Volochaevets... I presume!
    Huff... puff...
    Huff... puff...
The Antarctic was a bit of a challenge, what with my lack of icebreaking capabilities and all.
Since you've been on special missions constantly since your posting, you've never really been at the base.
I've been wanting to meet for so long...!
So how's this! Do you perhaps have an interest in the Soviet Appreciation Society!?
    Wha? Are you okay...?
