There's a Pokemon attack called Solar Beam, and Yuuka is well known for her powers based on flowers and that her "Garden of the Sun" is filled with sunflowers. The garden is manipulated by her powers and is in a perpetual Summer. So using her as a weapon is like using the power of Summer and Light (which is also what her version of the Master Spark is based on) therefore Solar Beam.
