Not that the average layman would probably be able to tell (unless told beforehand which is which), but the Necromancer should be an expert since she works with bones all the time (like RL coroners).
Hmm.. maybe her style of necromancy just involves waving a hand or wand around from a distance and doesn't require her to touch the bones at all or assemble/sort anything?

I kind of assume the latter's the case. I mean, she couldn't tell the difference between a regular skull and one of her servants afterall.

It's not that she can't tell the difference between them. She just doesn't care at all. They're all equally worthless to her so therefore they all look the same to her. Like ants or fees on a food delivery service app. I dont care how different they are I'm just sick of seeing them.
