I'm reasonably sure that this is a typo. 流年 (ryuunen) is not a common kanji pairing, but it can mean "the passing of the years", whereas 留年 (also ryuunen) is "getting held back a year" and is both more common and more likely to be one of the wishes up here. Still translated as-is for now.
