A slightly more down-to-earth Zoids.

It could work with a good enough story behind it.

It's far too small for Zoids standards. And not 'zoid-y' enough, if you know what I mean.

Zoids design has a lot of heat vents/fin sinks/pistons/strangely large joint bolts. This design has nothing of the likes, and looks mostly organic. The hatch also doesn't make that much sense: that forehead 'glass' part creates a weakpoint where stray shots can destroy the control panel easily.
