Maybe the translation should be changed to "piercing" or some such, then ...?

for some reason, I really like when artists give Reisen crazy eyes like this. It's silly and a nice touch

"piercing" (as mentioned on the wiki) would be the general interpretation of that appearance, but not the appearance itself.

Think "muscled" and "strong".
One implies the other, but they aren't the same.

"tsurime" would mean something like "slanted/upturned eyes", according to a dictionary.

I find interesting how only ONE character has gray/black eyes
