    Well, think it was designed to be single-purpose (for Oguri's giant servings of nagashi-soumen), but the other umas thought it was a water slide and used it as such. Soumen noodles prolly got inserted at some higher point on the slide which they couldn't see.

    Though yes, it's effectively a multipurpose tool now.
