    I THINK the joke here is that -take is typically a suffix used in boys' names, similar to -maru and, of course, -suke

    This is a really REALLY bad analogy, but it's *sorta* like if Satori was all "How about I just call you Frank?" and Patchy goes "If it's going to be like that, I prefer John."

    Also, names ending in "-suke" are usually used for boys.
