Actually, when I looked, she's still obtainable, since she's not one of the 18, her VA was replaced because she had the gall to post a selfie from a shrine that the chinese didn't like.

Shrine that venerates Class A war criminals and also regularly causes problems with Koreans (both sides), indigenous Taiwanese, Filipinos, etc. etc. And a comment that can be misconstrued the wrong way.

(Though IMHO not the VA's fault but instead priests playing politics... and educators whitewashing history.)

Yes I downplayed it slightly, but she didn't go there to venerate the war criminals there (which would be a valid reason to replace her), she went there because the place was quiet. The chinese antis didn't care. And she didn't actually take a photo at the shrine, but at the forested anex outside the entrance of the shrine.

she posted a selfie and said the atmosphere of the shrine itself was pleasant. to the wumao, anything other than spitting on the place and heiling jinpingmao was worthy of wanting her purged from everything. kinda like how they spent most of kiryu coco's career harassing her for having read off google analytics that mention taiwan existing. or the whole thing with mhy and the crazy bastard that tried shanking their founders over them having a !china-related character wear a bunnygirl outfit outside china.

There’s a conspiracy theory floating around suggesting that that the timing of her getting “cancelled” (airquotes) and Tencent’s release of Alchemy stars (game with similarities to Arknights) at the time couldn’t have been a coincidence. Idk fuckier things can happen which is why I’m loathe to dismiss it.

I could care less for all the political crap, all I care is that as someone who fell madly in love with KC Chikuma and looked through all 48 pages at the time of her danbooru page I am not disappointed. She seems to retain most if not all of the traits that I adored her for and the fact that she is the 8K point reward makes me very happy that the gacha can't fuck me over from getting her. She's getting a ring for sure!

Chikuma looks very Atago-like. Maybe it's her eyes and mole, regardless I need her in my fleet!

Well I figure it was someone who wanted to bury an axe in AL, and this would make sense, particular as the move also hurt AK as well as AL and GFL.
