Tartaglia: Bow before me maid! Because I am a Fatui Harbinger!!! Noelle: [Smash Him Puny God Style] Are you hurt? Tartaglia: No...
But in a canonically fight, despite Noelle strength defense and endurance, Childe have a higher chance of winning just that only when he goes into his Fowl Legacy transformation.
Since his base and delusions attacks would probably be ignore by her shield and defense. So his only real way of winning against her is using his Fowl Legacy transformation for actual damage and to win the fight. Just that he still need to be careful because if he get grab and start getting slam the armor would do jack shit to help him survive.
Tartaglia: Bow before me because I'm a Fatui Harbinger!!! Noelle: *Hulk Puny God Him* Oh No.
In a canonically lore fight, he have higher chance to win just that like the image above he would have to try very hard to hurt her but if Noelle able to grab him it over instantly.
Because Childe only strength against her is Speed and his Transformation. So he need to hit her hard to win and make sure he isn't time out or get grab cause even with the armor it most likely won't save him from being crush.
While Noelle is max out on Strength Defend and Endurance. So she just can drag the fight out till he run out of time or land a very clear hit on him and win the fight instantly.
Uh either you never watched any of the cutscenes or your getting your lore wrong.
Childe has an honest to God good chance to take on everyone in Mondstadt and win baring maybe Varka.
In game we only beat him by temporarily tapping back into our original powers for a brief moment.
And even then it was just barely our win.
And in matters of physical strength.
He was literally kicking and punting Ruin Guards like they were actual toys while already straining himself to the limits die to his previous injuries.
It's Noel that should be worried about getting close in this case.

I recall Noelle being described as deceptively strong (in terms of brute strength) able to cause landslides and throw entire stone house walls at things with her strength alone. In terms of raw power, I'd say Noelle has the upper hand, as well as her endurance, which she has Jean to back up for her in details. The thing she lacks is combat experience, mainly being, well, a maid, isn't of much use to you in a battle. I'd say she'd end up putting up a decent enough fight, but the outcome would be in Childe's favour, due to his overall experience and versatility.

I thought I already said he have a higher chance to win due to his speed and transformation.
No. The MC beat him fair and square in base form and delusions form until Childe transform into Fowl Legacy and the MC was able to keep up before getting out Speed and have to use both element the MC gain that time (which is Anemo and Geo) to fought him off. Not tap into the original power.
So in both form Noelle would easily trump him, since Noelle have a massively Strength Defend and Endurance superiority would help her ignore whatever he throw at her in both form since he can't get close and can't shot her with bow till he use his final transformation since a hit from her would mean his end.
In that form, he will 100% able to break her shield and hurt her but it wouldn't be enough to kill her even with his Ruin Guard destroying feat since Noelle had shaken off some of those size monster so she is somewhat capable of taking most of the attack he'll throw at her.
The fight would be like a tank vs an assassin. If the tank able to land a single hit the assassin die but due to faster Speed and burst damage he can kill the tank if there an opening.
Doesn't Childe say that he's going easy on you for this fight? Either way you can beat this fight with pretty much any character, including Childe himself. This whole discussion was an interesting read nonetheless.

Your Tank vs Assassin falls flat on it's face when the Harbingers are considered in universe to be army killers and nation takers if need be.
So unless your gonna keep puling nonsense out once more Noel canonically can't stand up to Tartaglia in any sort of way.
It took a freaking Archon to one shot one of them and that's after getting the shit beat out if them by us prior.
And no Tartaglia never took us seriously he was going easy on us the entire time he just decided that he will go easy by his definition in which he will play around with us and not try and take us out in a single attack.
Again him being at the absolute limit of his capabilities while still healing from our encounter had him going blitzing and taking out Ruin Guards that would have canonically taken us out by literally one shooting them and kicking them and all around stomping them.
Noel has some interesting lore that's for sure but she's no Saitama and she isn't in any sort of way putting up a fight against any Harbinger anytime soon other than within game play mechanics let alone win or have a chance at winning
Everything she has that you've described so far heavily relies on bits of lore and gameplay mechanics.
Her shield wouldn't stand up to Tartaglias most basic attack outside of gameplay mechanics let alone a serious one.
So no she really ain't tanking her way through anything in a fight against Tartaglia
I recall Noelle being described as deceptively strong (in terms of brute strength)
If I remember her lore right, she can lift a fully loaded cart over her head and ran something moronic like 10 miles with the fucking thing till she caught up with it's owner.

People forget that Childe in the story is just "holding back" when fighting against the traveller and there is his story btw, where he defeated a "group" of ruin guards in less than 10 seconds.

I agree, but didn't he straight up also say that he probably wouldn't be able to fight like that again for decades because of the stress that put on him?

Nope more along the lines of entering his foul legacy form puts an enormous strain on his body afterwards.
It won't take him that long to recover bet he can't just use it all willy nilly.
And even then he was literally just toying with us since his one goal was the Genosis us temporarily tapping into our original powers just snapped him out of his battle lust mode and winded up deciding to just cut his loses and leave.

Regardless, I think people like to overestimate a Harbingers ability, I think the power discussion problem we always have when trying to gauge the power levels of any fictional characters, given broad details about how strong they are, comes into play here. The best way to leave it is: 'up to one's personal preference, confined to headcanon and sensible arguments,' is the best way to settle it. No need for anyone to get upset or angry that way.

1. Due to her currently unmeasurable strength defense and endurance that canonically surpass all the Knights of Favonius besides from probably Varka. (Which we currently unknown how strong he is) I'm still 100% sure she can somewhat easily fought off Childe in base and delusions form without much hassle.
But the overall results is still very leaning toward him winning the fight between them, just that Noelle is sit in a position if she can land that one major hit she can instantly win against him and that a big IF
2. Childe stopped being "never took us seriously" right after his second form in his transformation.
Childe: Not bad, not bad. Not bad! You've learned a trick or two.
Childe: I guess I should have taken you seriously.
And literally said this when he use his Foul Legacy.
So shut up about the "he never take the traveller seriously".
The traveller canonically fought him off in both form, until he transform gain the speed advantage and the traveller is resolved to using both element he/her recent gain to drive him back.
3. It's very easy to destroy/deactivate the Ruin series monster just by hitting them in their very obvious weak spot. Not saying that the feat was weak just that it isn't that significant but then again it his "all out before I die" attack and I already said he would hurt Noelle with that just wouldn't kill her.
4. Harbinger is not as strong as you think. They still above 90% of vision users, but the most majority of that come from the power they receive from Tsaritsa and the Delusions. Some of them might be stronger as default but Childe sit in the not really stronger then most vision users with long term combat experience like the Knights of Favonius if he doesn't have both of those hack backing him up.
If you bring up the Signora body Venti fight, which it not even Childe achievement and Signora is alot more stronger while Venti also have a large chunk of his power faded away overtime and because he didn't rules over Mondstadts it actually make him significantly weaker then what you think is an Archon that can casually cut mountain apart.

That fact you're trying to go to such lengths to defend your opinion about your Favorite character in the game more than tells people's it's not a good idea to keep discussing with you.
So no I ain't answering or even acknowledging your wall of text at this point.
Lol at the hurt fanboys dislike bombing people when they think their Waifu is insulted in any sort of way.

I already admit that my favorite character lost the fight. Your the one being that cause I don't care about like or dislike since this is not the first time what I said is unpopular.

Edit: Change Fowl Legacy to Foul Legacy.
He didn't not take the Traveler seriously, his first phase he fights using specifically Hydro and a bow ( the he is weakest with ), his second phase he switches to Electro and a spear and the Traveler uses both Anemo and Geo to fend him off and that was just a ploy for Childe to get close to the Exuvia and his final phase where he uses Foul Legacy he's fighting at a disadvantage because he needs the Traveler alive as he believes ( at the time ) the Traveler is the one who has/hid the Gnosis as during the foght he constantly demand either that we hand over the Gnosis or tell him where it is.
FYI :- The lines where he says Childe: ...Your strength is praiseworthy.
Childe: I, too, shall use all of mine...
Childe: So... don't you dare disappoint me.
Only occur when fought as a Weekly Boss his Story Boss version simply says
Childe: Not bad.
Childe: But, this is going to cost you.
And he doesn't say
Childe: I guess I should have taken you seriously.
