No, it can't be brown, or black. It's blue or grey, but I tagged it blue.

If you use a color picker and inspect the RBG values on any of the pixels in her iris, they're mostly just as red as they are blue. So given there's nothing out of the ordinary about the lighting here, I'd go with grey.
