If Hook-bang is really concerned about the bananas being stolen (though I have to wonder if they're even 'hers' to begin with, and she hasn't just claimed so because cute or not she's a greedy thing), she should really store them better than "in a huge pile" since we have a duck Mission Impossible-ing right this moment.
It is a miracle this gang has lasted so long without being shut down by Star. Either Hookbang is really good at keeping low profile with her gang, or (more likely) nobody is taking them seriously. But pointing weapons at a people, for whatever reason, is something that should not be tolerated...

It can be narrowed down a bit more, due to the fact that they use transparent tape. A quick look-up states that the first example of clear adhesive tape was invented in 1930, so this has to take place some time after that becomes commercially viable.
