Apparently, some women who work out get their best results on their periods. Apparently it's because they produce a lot of testosterone (male hormone). They say theories and ointment can stick to anything but... Now I get it.
"Reason and ointment can stick to anything" is a proverb which suggests that some logic can be found to justify anything, like how ointment can go anywhere on the body.
