    It's a trashy derivative of this: https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/54596231

One of the hands looks like it has its fingers coming out of the side of the palm. Some elements look pasted on.

Really? Because that's newer than the source of this.
You just seem mad about the swastika.

Poorly executed drawing. Might as well be removed.

I don't see how any intelligent person distancing themselves from evil influences could be upset about a drawing of said influences. Are we backing to times when people would be upset about drawings of the devil? We commonly have images of people tortured or raped. I think it is worse to be tortured and raped than cosplay as an ss-soldier.
But hey, let's erase history and don't even let people know about bad things. Portray them as devils to scare bad children. Please don't do this, it's disheartening to think we are devolving back like that.

It depends on the type of drawing. If it's a picture of a cute girl embracing an evil regime without any critical commentary about what is happening, then yes, be upset about it.
Pictures like this will eventually support to play down the atrocities a government like that caused on humankind.
Why should we display any tolerance to any intolerant regime?

This is clearly the wrong thing to do, as we should never attempt to erase history. How else will we learn from past mistakes? We should let everyone know about the vile machinations of those intolerant societies.
However, this isn’t achieved in this drawing. It doesn’t send a message about what the Nazis did and might be used to court for them instead.
Millions of people were systematically murdered by them, so why not portray them as devils, why not be scared of them?

Deciding for others what messages their art is allowed to send is a form of censorship, you know.

Imagine getting triggered by a silly drawing featuring a buddhist symbol that was used by a very angry moustached man.

Also this. Imagine projecting your own blind hatred on others without reflecting on it. Being a bigot against nazis is still being a bigot, and thus not a good thing. Unless you value being a shallow individual who only repeats what he's told.

Not a good reason to lie in an attempt to get an image taken down.

What, does the girl in the OP picture not look evil enough to you? Have we not seen Nazis being depicted like this in Japanese media before?

It's not just a buddhist symbol,it's an Indo-Aryan sign and based on the context i think Flandre(or rather, the artist) is emphasizing the aryan part

Ah yes danbooru comments are truly the best place to argue about trivial things such a vampire touhou girls and political symbols. I mean in the end it hardly matters if anyone can access deleted work.

“Hakekreuz” should be used when referring to the version by the NSDAP instead of “swastika”. Regardless, it’s not merely symbols that make such ideologies bad.

    No it shouldn't
A swastika is a swastika in English, ein Hakenkreuz ist ein Hakenkreuz in German. It's a name for a symbol, not the meaning behind the symbol. That's what the Nazi tag is for.

Because millions were killed by the Chinese, Japanese, Russians, Americans, Turkish, British in the past. This is our history and we need to understand it, not ban one nation and build religious following around hating it. We need to despise the idea of a genocide, not silly outfit made by Hugo Boss.

There are reclamation attempts by numerous religions to call the Hitlerite logo “Hakenkreuz” and not associate the term “Swastika” with Hitlerism. The tags are fine as they are, just lamestream plebs referring to Hitlerite symbols as such is wrong.
