I guess the moral of the story is that people who can upload multiple posts at once have an obvious advantage, lol.
(No shame. )
What surprised me is how long it took for uploads to speed up. When we were 1k posts away I figured people would begin uploading faster, instead Hungry Dong dropped like 100 posts at once and almost got the W.

People usually don't have 1K posts prepared, that's why. They wait for everyone else to make it close and then dump their load and claim the victory.

for the record, I don't know how to upload multiple at once, I just pre-tagged 106 images and quickly alternated ctrl+tab & ctrl+enter
Yeah, underwhelming is what I thought 6 hours ago, but of course that might be because I'm not familiar with the character/series.
Also, for what it's worth, I did the opposite, i.e. paying attention to the 5M mark and stop uploading when it got close, since I didn't really want my uploads associated with such.
Congrats on reaching 5M uploaded pics! But yeah, this one was dissappointing. If it wasn't for some sockpuppet users spamming with the crappy images, it could've been something quite unique.
"wow Chloe is in 5million post on here? That's ama- I mean underwhelming" I'm used to being the only one liking or feeling something in a group. Which doesn't make me special, just lonely.
