I mean, this is the same person Fox News was scouting as a "second amendment expert".
This was more a slight dig at the cringe-inducing fawning nature a certain portion of the media grants Greta Thunberg (set up by the previous comic) than it is anything else. About the time that comic came out, COVID was new, and CNN being CNN announced a townhall of COVID experts which included Greta. Whoever handles Greta's media communications even had enough sense to walk CNN's idiotic claim back (she still appeared on this panel, of course.) This is quite something considering Greta's entirely artificial and ultimately absurd media presence was put in place simply and specifically for the spiteful reason to annoy the older conservative element; and if you don't think our media outlets aren't capable of being this petty then I only wish I shared your blissful ignorance on the matter.
One absurd and spiteful turn deserves another, but it's probably best for the free world that Enterprise involved herself and halted that vicious circle. One shudders to think how the momentum of such a media presence could have eventually snowballed Akagi-chan directly into, oh I dunno, Ottawa.
