Obviously not literally since that scum doesn't deserve it. Glad he fucking dies like a bitch.
Idk even what happened, went to him after screwing up Nepheli's questline to find him dead. Oh well, whatever happened was 100% deserved. More so if you're aware of all of his experiments

Seems likely he was killed by the assassins sent by the Two Fingers. Blaidd killed the ones that went after him and Iji took down a few before he went down. But Seluvis just died like a bitch without any indications he fought back. That or as I would like to think, Ranni just off'd him on her way out.

If you continue with his questline, he will eventually order you to give the drug to Ranni and promises to share. Ranni, who knows what the drug is for, is understandbly disgusted and disappointed in you two. If you press on, Ranni will kill you and Seluvius then bar you out from her questline. And if you haven't realised this yet, Seluvius is a fucking freak who turn real people into puppet so he can fuck them among other things. You can find his secret puppet room behind a hidden chamber in the ruins between Ranni's and Renna's rise. In there you can find a suspicious hidden room with Selen's puppet near to a bed.
Can second this. Ranni goes straight for Seluvis' ass right after killing you when you try to give her the amber potion. He's still alive just before this happens. Nephelli can also be seen inside his hidden sex dungeon if you do give Seluvis' first potion to her. By the way, you can simply absolve your sins at the Church of Vows and Ranni's questline will go on like nothing even happened. Which is uh, kind of jarring, to be honest. Convenient from a gameplay perspective, sure, but it's pretty disappointing in context. It'd make more sense to actually have the questline break down completely. Especially considering Ranni's character and the way this whole fiasco goes down.
there's a lot of quircks considering the Ranni's questline is one of the endings and if you do everything right even the three finger ending isnt an absolute lock in as well (you just need to get Miquella's needle for the complete avertion of the 3 finger ending to go back to the "main" endings)

I am aware. That's why he's scum. Just to clarify, I was referring to doing Ranni's questline without progressing Seluvis' questline at all. He dies regardless the moment you give the Fingerslayer Blade to Ranni.

If you follow Blaaid without doing Seluvis there is a sub branch He believes Seluvis betrayed Ranni and later Seluvis allows the Black Knives to kill all Ranni forces except Seluvis himself so thats why Blaaid kills him before the Black Knives goes after Blaaid
